Husband-wife murdered in Banke’s Kohalpur

KATHMANDU, July 26: A couple has been found murdered on Tuesday morning in Parvatipur of Kohalpur Municipality-14. Krishna Kumar Gadaria, 25, and his wife Anjali Gadaria, 23, were killed in their own house in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.

Ain Bahadur Malla, head of the local police office Kohalpur and Deputy Superintendent of Police, said that the couple was murdered. Malla, who is investigating the incident, said that although the couple was killed, it is not known as to who did it and why.

He said that various mechanisms have been mobilized to find out the reality of the incident. “They were killed, and an investigation is underway to find out who killed them and why," said Malla. Some people have been detained and interrogated for their alleged involvement in the incident.

According to the police, the deceased couple was sleeping in the room of the house and their brother and sister-in-law were sleeping on the terrace. Relatives informed the police when they did not wake up till Tuesday morning. It is said that they got married only a year ago. The police said that blood was coming out from the mouth of the deceased Krishna and his right hand was injured.

Spokesperson of District Police Office Banke and Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhusudan Neupane said that the incident is being thoroughly investigated. He said that the suspects are being questioned about the incident and the truth will be revealed soon. "The reality of the incident will be known only after a detailed investigation," Neupane said, "The incident is being investigated."
