According to Kedar Raj Panta of District Police Office of Rupandehi who is investigating the death, Pasi had hit his wife in the head. Sushila died of excessive bleeding, according to eyewitnesses. Sushila´s murder, which was reported on the eve of International Women´s Day, has shocked local women rights activists.
