SIMIKOT, June 19: A Fistail Air helicopter bound for Simikot from Hilsa of Humla district crashed on the Karnali riverbank late Wednesday afternoon, killing one person and injuring three others aboard.
Tek Bahadur Padali, chief of the Humla office of Nepal Civil Aviation, was killed, while five others, including the pilot, were injured in the crash. The injured are the chopper´s pilot Davida, an Italian national and two others, Dilok Shrestha and Govinda Lama. Of the six people on board, Goma Air´s captains Yedi Sherpa and Prajwal Bhattarai are unhurt. [break]
