KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been put off for a week.
Speaker Agni Sapkota put off the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) till 1 PM on December 20. Sources said the meeting was put off also because the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is currently busy in the 14th General Convention of the party.
House meeting put off for eight days
The main opposition party, CPN-UML, continued with its obstruction in parliament even on Tuesday. However, Speaker Sapkota conducted the meeting of parliament for some time.
During parliament’s meeting on Tuesday, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dilendra Prasad Badu presented various ordinances including Nepal Police and Province Police (Operation, Supervision and Coordination) First Amendment 2078 BS, Social Security (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2078 BS in parliament.
