According to the house owner, Saligram Chaudhary of Panchakule VDC-5, he lost everything including clothes, food storage, cash, jewelries and other valuables in the fire.
The children had exploded the firecrackers in the courtyard when their parents were busy with household chores. The fire was doused only after one and a half hours. Chaudhary said he lost property worth Rs. 300,000 in the fire.
