KATHMANDU, Sept 25: A hotline service has been launched at the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, the Ministry of Urban Development and the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport to prevent unnecessary delays, ill practices and corruption.
Arrangements have been made for service-seekers to make direct complaints to the ministry if there are activities such as avoiding work, demanding bribes or seeking favours, causing unnecessary distress or engaging in humiliating behaviour against them at ministries' departments, projects, and subordinate offices.

Complaints related to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation can be directed to telephone number 01–4211511 and hotline number 1151.
Similarly, complaints related to the Ministry of Urban Development should be directed to hotline telephone number 01-420001 while those related to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport to hotline telephone 01-421172.
Any complaints related to the three ministries can also be sent to gunaso.minister@gmail.com, it is stated.
