Hotels and restaurants can’t open after 8 PM, CDO permission mandatory to organize events in party palaces

KATHMANDU, April 19: The government has restricted hotels and restaurants to operate after 8PM.


A cabinet meeting held earlier Monday morning took the decision to let hotels and restaurants operate from 8 AM to 8PM until the end of Baishak. Hotels and restaurants are allowed to provide delivery services even after 8PM.

Similarly, the government has also mandated the Chief District Officer’s (CDO) permission to organize events in party palaces and other places.


The government has banned gatherings of more than 25 people in one place.
