Hospital vandalized in Nepalgunj

KATHMANDU, April 14: Relatives of a man who died after being injured in a motorcycle accident have vandalized the Teaching Hospital in Nepalgunj injuring some of its staff.



Reacting to the event, doctors and other hospital staff have closed the emergency ward and out patient services.



Hari Shrestha, 22, of Bageshwori - 2 had died at the hospital after a motorcycle accident at Surkethroad. His relatives damaged a bus, an ambulance and a van citing that the doctors didn´t arrive in time to treat him.



Hospital staff claimed that a team of 30 policemen did not intervene when the vandalism occurred early Tuesday morning.
