Hospital lacks oxygen, medicines due to strike

SAPTARI, Sept 13: The Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital has suffered the lack of oxygen and medicines due to the continuous strike imposed by the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) in the Tarai districts.


Likewise, the hospital has been facing the crisis of diesel as supply is still affected due to the agitation for almost a month, Dr Lal Kishor Singh said.

Furthermore, the banda has effected affected the supplies of other medicines including the ARV anti rabies vaccines usually required to treat bite of rabid animals. RSS
