After impressive victories against England and Australia in the league stage, Nepal advanced to the knockout round but struggled against Sri Lanka.

Chasing a target of 124 runs, Nepal was bowled out for just 83 runs in 5 overs. Rashid Khan stood out with an explosive 55 runs off 18 balls, including 8 sixes and 1 four, but his efforts weren't enough to secure a win.
