Honda CB Hornet 160R arrives in Nepal

KATHMANDU, April 17: Syakar Trading Company (STC), the authorized distributor of Honda two-wheelers in Nepal, has lifted the wraps off the stylish CB Hornet 160R motorcycle.

The company launched the bike amid a colorful event organized at Royal Beach Camp, Kurintar, on Saturday in the presence of delegates from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI).

Issuing a statement, Syakar said that the Honda CB Hornet 160R is a motorcycle derived from the Honda Hornet, a naked street sports bike, in which one can enjoy riding with optimum speed and comfort. "W“th the addition of HET (Honda Eco Technology), the Hornet is the motorcycle which ensures fun riding with ease and comfort," ”aid the company.

Accrding to the company, the new motorcycle is designed for youth riders and comes loaded with features like sharp and edgy headlight with upward facing side indicators, new generation X- shaped LED light, dynamic tank masked with carbon pattern tank cover and fully digital meter display. "The motorcycle has 140 mm rear tire that increases its stability and the uniquely crafted 5 spoke split alloy wheels which is new to the Honda line up," according to the statement.

Hornet 160R is powered by a single-cylinder 163cc engine that delivers maximum power of 15.66 BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.76 NM torque at 6500 rpm.

The company claimed that the newly launched motorcycle gives mileage of 60 kilometer/hour.

Hornet 160R is available in attractive shades of pearl night star black, pearl siren blue, neo orange metallic, sport red and pearl amazing white.
