KATHMANDU, March 28: Home Secretary Binod Prakash Singh has asked the loan-sharking victims to postpone their protest program.


Home Secretary Singh went to Tangal, Kathmandu on Tuesday morning and asked the loan-sharking victims to suspend the sit-in protest program. He said that the government is taking legal steps to provide justice to the victims.

Manoj Paswan, one of the victims, said that they wanted to meet the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and express their pain in the meeting with the Home Secretary. He said that the home secretary asked them for a demand letter but could not give it as the demand letter was lost when the police arrested them on Monday night.
