Transport entrepreneurs have argued that stopping nighttime bus services is not an effective measure for reducing risks.

Following the unfortunate incident in Chitwan this morning, an emergency meeting was convened at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The meeting aimed to gather more information about the incident and discuss the proposal to halt bus services at night during monsoon. Transport entrepreneurs were also invited to discuss the issue.
