Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has described the rumors against him in the ‘visit visa scandal’ as politically motivated conspiracies.

KATHMANDU, May 28: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has described the rumors against him in the ‘visit visa scandal’ as politically motivated conspiracies. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, he made this statement.

“There have been claims, news reports, and social media discussions suggesting the involvement of a minister in this matter,” said Minister Lekhak. “These are false and baseless accusations. I am not involved in any way. This is a planned and conspiratorial attack driven by political interests.”

He also stated that he welcomes any investigation conducted by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) with an open mind.
