KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has said the murder of Khursid Ansari has been taken seriously.
Khursid was shot dead by two unidentified persons at Bhutaha bazaar, near the Nepal-India border, in Harinagra Rural Municipality-2 of Sunsari district on Thursday.

Talking to Nepal Muslim Ittehad Organization delegates at the Ministry today, Minister Thapa committed to bringing the culprits under the ambit of law at any cost. He added that the Ministry will leave no stone unturned in taking action in such cases.
Minister Thapa added that he was saddened with the case and expressed deep sorrow over the incident, while extending tributes to late Ansari.
The delegates had urged the Minister to pay special attention for the security of the Muslim community as incidents of murder against them was on the rise since the past.
