BHAKTAPUR, Minister for Law, Ajay Shankar Nayak, has said that local bodies' election was the last alternative to give an outlet to the existing political problems.
At an interaction organised by Rafat Sanchar Club here Wednesday, Minister Nayak said, "Local bodies' election is the prime need of the country."
Madhes-based parties and the major opposition CPN (UML) should also play a role to create environment conducive for election,, the Minister said, arguing that the CPN (UML) was playing a very traditional role in Nepali politics.
He further accused the UML of delaying the election bill at the parliament. RSS
