The event started off with an address from the Prime Minister. “Our education system has definitely taught us how to be eligible for jobs, but it hasn’t been able to change people’s perceptions. People ask what has the country given them, but forget what their duty towards their country is .Our nation can have a very bright future if our education helps us to change our perception,” he said.
“The youths of our country are fleeing abroad because of lack of opportunities. Our main goal today is to create opportunities, so that we can keep them back as their enthusiasm and expertise can be strength for our economy,” informed Dr Suresh Raj Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University.

The program highlighted the role of the private sector in education, and also discussed the challenges that it faces because of inadequate resources.
The participants talked about how the government schools have not been able to give quality education to the students and are always influenced by politics.
However, it was evinced that their involvement is important, considering the composition of the society. Therefore, it was proposed that the private and public sectors should work together and mobilize resources so that they can create opportunities with quality.
