High-level talk on importing essential supplies from China

Kathmandu, Oct 23: A high level talk has been held at the initiative of the ruling coalition partner UCPN (Maoist) to import fuel products among other essential supplies from China.

UCPN (Maoist) Vice Chairman Narayankaji Shrestha led a meeting held on Friday among Minister for Commerce and Supply Ganeshman Pun, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai and Nepali Ambassador to China Dr Mahesh Maskey to discuss the import of supplies from China's border points.

Shrestha's Personal Secretary Susan Karmacharya said that discussion was held to import essential supplies as medicines and fuel products among other commodities.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was also briefed over the meeting, said Karmacharya. RSS
