KATHMANDU, April 2: The two short distance roads to enter Kathmandu from Hetauda via Kulekhani will be closed for upgrading. Chitlang-Chandragiri-Thankot road and Kulekhani-Sisneri-Chaimale-Dakshinkali road section is also closed for upgrading.
According to Thaha Municipality Mayor Bishnu Bista, the road has been closed until further notice as road upgrading and maintenance work is currently underway. According to the ward office, the road will be closed every day from 6 PM to 6 AM the next day.
Similarly, under Kulekhani-Sisneri-Chaimale-Dakshinkali road section, the road will remain closed in that section due to the upgrading of Ramchandra Bhanjyang road from Jamire of Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-3. The office of Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-3 is working on road upgrading.
Every day from 7 am to 5 pm, it has been requested not to operate other vehicles except ambulances, local vehicles and vehicles running on local routes.
