Portable pools also known as lap pools can be placed right on top of any kind of level surface. [break]
It´s very easy to install and move from one place to another. “We have introduced lap pool a week ago and has already received orders for 6 more pieces,” said Kamal Acharya, managing director of Heritage Nepal.
Lap pool, which is available for Rs 1.4 million is 20 feet long, 10 feet wide and 4 feet deep. “As 20 feet length is not enough to swim, we will install Euro Counter Current (ECC), which converts pool´s length to infinity,” informed Acharya. ECC is mostly used for productive walk, jogging, swimming or massage.
The company said at a time when individuals and developers make maximum utilization of space, lap pools, which can be installed in a very small space, are a great option. The company has introduced the pools mostly targeting elite people and realty developers.
Similarly, the company has introduced car bed, which can be used by children. The company has already sold a car bed and has received orders for 3 more. Car bed is available in different colors as per the demand and is available for Rs 90,000 apiece.
As the size of the room differs, the company manufactures lap pools and car beds only after receiving orders. The company uses resin, fiber and different types of chemicals to make these materials.
Likewise, the company has also introduced dry gardens. They are made of a material which looks like sand. The garden can be hung on wall and can be used as a new type of decoration material. This type of gardens are mostly in demand at hotels, resorts, restaurants and even at individual homes.
“The price of the garden depends on how big one wants. We take Rs 900 per sq. feet to construct the garden,” said Acharya.
The company has also introduced water proof doors which are available at Rs 12,000 to 15,000 mainly for external use. According to the company, the doors can be used in verandahs, terrace where the doors are easily spoiled by heat and rain.
