KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Heavy rains have severely impacted hydropower projects across Nepal, leading to the suspension of electricity production in several key sites.
According to Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), floods and landslides caused by the incessant rainfall for the past two days have raised river levels, halting power generation in projects that collectively generate a total of 1,300 megawatts power.
