KATHMANDU, Jan 6: The hearing on 13 writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representative (HoR) is currently underway.

As many as 13 writ petitions were filed at the Apex Court against the house dissolution.

The same five member constitution bench under the leadership of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR is conducting the hearing today. The five member bench includes Justices Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, Tej Bahadur KC, Anil Kumar Sinha and Hari Krishna Karki.

Earlier on December 25, the apex court had issued a show-cause notice to the government over its decision of dissolving the lower house of the parliament.
