KATHMANDU, Oct 29: The Supreme Court is set to begin hearings today on 16 petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the petitions seek writs of certiorari and mandamus demanding the annulment of the prime minister’s appointment, the reversal of the parliament’s dissolution, and the reinstatement of the House.
