Though Singh was supposed to be taken to the District Police Office straight from the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment under police watch for the last three days, police took him to the court instead, according to our correspondent Upendra Lamichhane.
Bibek, whose statement to the police led to Singh´s arrest, is also giving his statement to the court Wednesday. Police had arrested Singh on Saturday in connection with the murder of two local businessmen. The court on Sunday had remanded him in judicial custody for three days.
