KATHMANDU, Sept 4: : Health and Population Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet left for Egypt today.
According to his press coordinator Ramchandra Dulal, Minister Basnet left for Egypt today to participate in the World Conference on Population, Health and Development, which will start tomorrow in Cairo, Egypt.

According to him, besides Minister Basnet addressing the conference in Egypt, a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Health of Egypt and a meeting with the ministers of health of SouthEast Asia have been scheduled. Ministry Secretary Bikas Devkota has also accompanied the minister.
Minister Basnet is scheduled to return home on September 10.
