Nepali, playing his round of golf on Saturday in the two-day event, scored 40 points in the tournament played under 7/8 stableford formats at the Royal Nepal Golf Club in Kathmandu. Ojasvi CB Singh also scored equal 40 points but had to satisfy as runner-up in count back.[break]
Winner Nepali received round tickets for Kathmandu-Bangkok-Kathmandu for two, while runner-up Singh got round tickets for Kathmandu-Delhi-Kathmandu for two.
Tashi Ghale won the award of the best gross with 30 points. Ghale claimed the prize for most birdies also.
Kalpana Limbu scored 30 points and won the ladies´ title of the tournament while Rekha Ghimire finished runner-up with 29 points.
Mani Lal Thapa, leader of the first day, claimed the title of senior winner with 37 points. Suman Limbu finished on the second position in the senior category. Limbu scored 33 points.
Samir Acharya was awarded with the longest drive award while Hem Bahadur Thapa received award for closest to the pin. Yubaraj Gurung got the sportsmanship award in the tournament.
Altogether 60 golfers participated in the two-day tournament organized by Asian Distillery Pvt Ltd.

Tsering wins Gokarna Monthly Medal
Tashi Tsering (Dong) won the Surya Nepal Gokarna Monthly Medal golf tournament at Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday. Tsering playing off 9 handicaps played an eight-under nett (one-over gross) to clinch the title. Wanchen Dhondup, playing off 3 handicaps, finished runner-up with the nett score of three-under par (gross score of even-par).
This was the 11th medal rounds and those who have finished on the top three positions in each round will compete for the Gold Medal Championship to be played in December.
