The five-day long event that will conclude on October 8 has been organized by Happy Deals, an event management company, in coordination with Expo and Event Management services.[break]
"The expo offers quality products at an affordable price. Consumers can get quality products and services as the organizing committee will keep a close watch on the products and services," said Khagendra Kadel, managing director of Happy Deals. He further added that event has provided a platform to entrepreneurs to promote their brands.
According to the organizers, there are over 70 stalls displaying a variety of items ranging from ICT products to automobiles, home appliances, fashion wears, garments, handicraft, furniture and leather products at the fair.
"The main idea behind the expo, just days ahead of the festive season, is to give the consumers an opportunity to purchase quality products and services at an affordable prices," said Kadel.
"The event organizers have named the event Happy Deals as the event is being hosted at a special period. Moreover, I believe they also want to convert this expo as a destination where consumers can entertain themselves and their family," said finance minister Barshaman Pun, who inaugurated the expo.
"This type of event should be organized even by the government because consumers can get a wide range of products under the same roof," said Pun. The organizers expect a footfall of around 150,000 during the fair.
