Handicraft training concludes

KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Department of Handicraft, organized handicraft training ‘Flower vase making with unwanted clothes’ that started on March 9 and concluded on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Department of Handicraft, organized handicraft training ‘Flower vase making with unwanted clothes’ that started on March 9 and concluded on Sunday.

According to the press statement released by NAFA the training was held at District Education Office, Chagal where 27 women participated in the training.  They made around 50 flower vases during the training period. They were trained by Nilam Tamrakar. At the closing ceremony on Sunday Tamrakar, trainee Bina Maharjan, coordinator Smriti Chitrakar, Department Head of NAFA’s Department of Handicraft Sushma Rajbhandari, Chancellor of NAFA Ragini Upadhyay Grela, among others underscored the importance of such trainings.
