KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal (FHAN) is organizing 15th Handicraft Trade fair and 13th handicraft competition in Kathmandu from November 17 through November 21. The event will be organized with support from the Ministry of Commerce and the Trade and Export Promotion Center.
The event targets to promote handicraft products in both the domestic and international markets, and foster relationship between craft producers and importers, according to a statement issued by FHAN on Monday.

Around 250 stalls will be there in the trade fair with six pavilions. District handicraft associations under the FHAN, commodity association and entrepreneurs from 25 member districts and other representatives will be presenting their handicraft products during the event. There will be entrepreneurs from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Bhutan and other countries.
The trade fair, to be organized at Brikuti Mandap in Kathmandu, will showcase metal craft, silver ornaments, Pashmina, cotton products, woodcraft, leather products, woolen products and other distinct handmade gift items.
The other attractions of the event will be the 13th handicraft competition, exhibition of traditional handicrafts and Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), and business-to-business (B2B) meetings.
As the statement stated, FHAN has invited embassies, consulates, import promotion offices, and chambers of commerce and industries as observers of the event.
