Hailstorm damage crops in Humla

HUMLA, May 27: The hailstorm that took place on May 24 triggered huge losses to the crops planted in Madanamaila VDC of the district.



The hailstorm had sabotaged all the crops of 18 households of the VDC and the swollen rivulet after the downpour swept away 14 cows and buffaloes and nine goats of farmers.



Demanding compensation, victims farmers registered application for relief in Mailakawadi Police Post, informed District Police Post, Simikot.
