Gyanu Baba, led by national player Manju Gurung had little trouble dispatching New Diamond 25-5, 25-14, 25-12 who are relying on five players under the age of thirteen.
Although New Diamond´s captain Ramila Tandukar has been in a good form in the tournament, the team as a whole was no match to the much experienced opponents who have won the majority of their matches in straight sets in this edition. Tops School are third with 22 points from six victories and four defeats. They grabbed the latest win over Angel´s Heart whose captain Kamala Pun got injured during the game but continued playing. Tops came from a second set down to register a 25-16, 17-25, 25-19, 25-14 win over Angel´s Heart.
In another match, WMMC had to labor hard to register a 25-16, 19-25, 25-22, 19-25, 15-8 win over New Diamond. WMMC are fourth with 21 points while New Diamond are fifth with 16 points.
