KATHMANDU, March 26: Nepal’s Sujan Gurung has won the bronze medal in the Asian Citizen Taekwondo Championship completed at Kowloon Sports Park Center in Hong Kong on Monday.

Gurung was primed to win further but was stunned by China’s Sikom Kimpo 9-4 in the semifinal under the
58-kg weight category. The defeat was confirmed by Nepal team’s manager Kumar Lama Ghising. Earlier, Gurung had defeated Singapore’s Nochombo Likao in the pre-quarter and Mangolia’s Tomatorate Misimbo in the quarter-final matches.
