In the highest scoring match of the league, Satdobato defeated relegated side Kathmandu Club 7-5 with Prem Gurung alone scoring five goals.[break]
Gurung, who set a record for the most goals scored by an individual in a match, opened the scoring in the second minute, doubled his tally in the 22nd minute and competed his hat-trick in the 57th minute. He scored his fourth goal in the 72nd minute and capped an impressive performance with a fifth in the 90th minute. The other goals came from Bimal Rana Magar in the 19th minute and Sunil Malla in the 38th minute.
Dil Bahadur Gurung scored for Kathmandu in the 31st and 66th minutes while Raj Kumar Thapa, Bimal Shrestha and Sujan Pradhan were on target in the 11th, 68th and 75th minutes respectively.
In another match, Shree Kumari edged past Mahabir Sports and Athletics Association 4-2. Suraj Shrestha and Suraj Gurung scored a brace each for the winning team. Shrestha scored in the 74th and 79th minutes after Rana had put the team ahead in the 13th minute. Rana added another in the 85th minute. Santosh Ghale achieved the target for Mahabir in the 37th minute and Bijay Rai scored in the dying moments.
The result lifted Shree Kumari one spot to sixth with 17 points in its kitty. Mahabir dropped one spot to ninth with 13 points. Meanwhile, Satdobato climbed two positions to eighth with 14 points while Kathmandu remained unchanged in the 13th place with only one point. All of them have played 11 matches each.
