KATHMANDU, May 20: Bhat-Bhateni Super Market opened its 16th store in Satdobato of Lalitpur on Friday. Min Bahadur Gurung, chairman and managing director of Bhat-Bhateni Group, inaugurated the store, according to a statement issued by the group.

The store is offering 10 percent inaugural discount on different items including kitchenware, readymade garments, saree, kurthas, footwear, electronics and cosmetics, according to the statement. Initially opened at Tangal near the Bhat-bhateni Temple, the supermarket chain now has outlets at Chuchepati, Bhaktapur, Koteshwar, Maharajgunj, Kalanki, Anamnagar, Tripureshwar, Pulchowk and Balaju in the Kathmandu Valley.
It has also branched out to Dharan, Narayanghat, Pokhara, Butwal and Biratnagar. Meanwhile, the group has announced plan to branch out to Itahari, Nepalgunj and Bhairahawa soon.
