The dead bodies were brought to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) through a chopper from Nepalgunj and from there to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj for postmortem on an ambulance.
Rana’s mother faints, grief grips the hospital
Yam Kumari, the mother of the co-pilot couldn’t control her tears after the dead body of her son was brought to the hospital. She hurried to the ambulance and hugged the dead body. 
She then lost her consciousness in the ambulance which sent a shockwave to the mourners. She was rushed for treatment in the same ambulance.
Likewise, tears rolled down the eyes of the family members of captain Neupane when the dead body was brought to the hospital premises.
Relatives and general public tried to console the grieving families.
“Control yourself, only few have such brave sons,” voices were heard as saying, “The government should honor these pilots who saved the passengers at their own cost.”
