Govt vehicle set on fire in New Baneshwar

KATHMANDU, Dec 30: An unidentified gang set a fire to a government vehicle at New Baneshwar  in the Capital on Friday afternoon.

KATHMANDU, Dec 30: An unidentified gang set a fire to a government vehicle at New Baneshwar  in the Capital on Friday afternoon.


According to an eyewitness, the gang set the Scorpio, Ba 2 Jha 1392, vehicle on fire saying that  the vehicle was used on the government holiday.

Likewise, the gang also vandalized another government vehicle with the registration no. Ba 2 Jha 1055.


It has yet to be confirmed which government office the vehicle belongs, said Baneshwar Police. 


Police are investigating the case and trying to establish the identity of the culprits. Today  is Tamu Lhosar, the festival of Gurung community.
