He said the five-point agreement signed among the three parties to extend the Constituent Assembly’s term till Aug 31 is clear on the Prime Minister’s immediate resignation. “The Prime Minister has to resign after Aug 31 and a government under the Maoist leadership will be formed on consensus basis,” he said.
The present government was formed on the basis of the seven-point agreement and no basis has been put in order to remove this government, he said.
Saying that his party’s Central Committee meeting will discuss main contentious issues and resolve them scientifically, he said that work portfolios have to be made in the pary in a scientific way.
The party couldn’t pick pace in the past as one person alone handled all responsibilities, he said, adding that the parliament, government, organisation, international and army departments should be divided properly. He however said that no decision has been made yet regarding division of responsibilities.
Once the new team to represent the Maoist party in the government is finalised, party responsibilities will be given to the remaining leaders, he said.
