Minister Poudel said that the government will encourage and promote the private sector. He stated that he would work on the basis of feedback from the private sector starting from the time of formulating the policy to the level of its implementation.

Finance Minister Poudel said that there would be continuous dialogue to address the demands and issues raised by the private sector. He said, “Today's discussion is not the end of our discussion. It is just the beginning.”

Stating that the government has introduced programs such as refinancing, business continuity loan and other programs to support and encourage the industrialists and businessmen, he said that special emphasis would be put on their effective implementation.

“The government will work within the limited resources and it is necessary for industrialists to think from the government's perspective and vice versa, only then significant achievements can be unlocked,” he said.

CNI officials suggested the government to address problems created by COVID-19 and also assure implementation of programs mentioned in the budget announcement.
