Govt to award 20 civil servants

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: A cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to award 20 government employees on the Civil Service Day on September 7, for their good performance in the civil service.



As per the decision, five civil servants will be awarded with Utkrishta Nijamati Sewa Puraskar (best civil service award) that carries a purse of Rs 100,000 and 15 with an award with Rs 50,000 cash prize and certificates.



Those selected for the first prize are Under Secretaries Ananda Raj Dhakal, Keshav Prasad Regmi and Nirmal Hari Adhikary, account officer Bhagirath Shah and Surendra Kumar Bajracharya.
