Govt positive to address temporary teachers' problems: Minister Poudel

CHITWAN, Sept 9: Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudel has stated that there was fault in process of opening a new university adding that such mistake has appended the dispute between the Tribhuvan University and new universities.

CHITWAN, Sept 9: Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudel has stated that there was fault in process of opening a new university adding that such mistake has appended the dispute between the Tribhuvan University and new universities.


In a press meet organized by the Press Centre Nepal, Chitwan chapter today, Minister Poudel said that the concerned bodies failed to hold discussions with the TU authorities while opening a new universities with the provision of using TU property, human resources and the program.

He opined for formulating a new act to sort out the disputes surfaced between TU and Agriculture and Forest University. Minister Poudel added that government will soon formulate a new act to manage the higher education as well.


He also stated that the program of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) should be run through the government mechanism informing that the government was holding preliminary discussions to run Martyr Memorial Poly-technical Institute at Shaktikhor of Chitwan district.


In another note, Minister Poudel said that the government was positive to address the problems of temporary teachers. RSS
