The decision comes after two of Prasai’s bodyguards were apprehended with weapons on March 18 from the premises of the Supreme Court.
In response to this, Prasai asserted that he had obtained permission to carry the weapons from the District Administration Office, Jhapa.
The committee has been tasked with completing its investigation within 15 days and submitting a comprehensive report on the matter.
