RAJBIRAJ, Saptari, Oct 12: A government official has been caught red-handed while taking bribe in Saptari district.
A team from the Saptari branch of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Prakash Prasad Pokharel, official at the District Land Reforms Office, from the office while taking a bribe of Rs 100,000 from a service-seeker.
The team was led by Superintendent of Police Kisan Singh Thapa. The accused Pokharel has been taken to the Police's Regional Office for further investigation, he said.
