KATHMANDU, April 10: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday arrested chief executive officer of Budhanilkhantha Municipality, Lila Adhikari Ojha, and engineer Bijendra Shrestha while taking bribe from service seekers. 

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the anti-graft body had caught the duo red handed while receiving Rs 500,000 bribe from representatives of a construction company. The government officials had assured to provide certificate of completion of a drinking water project to the company after getting the amount.
The anti-graft body has also seized the cars of Adhikari and Shrestha.
