KATHMANDU, May 4: While concluding that president Dr Ram Baran Yadav´s directive to the army chief to continue in his position is unconstitutional and against the democratic values, a meeting of the cabinet on Monday has asked the president to withdraw his decision.

The meeting, boycotted by all coalition partners, also accepted the resignation handed over by ministers from the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist).
