Govt approves prez's Japan visit

KATHMANDU, June 16: The government Sunday approved President Dr Ram Baran´s visit to Japan for medical treatment. A cabinet meeting held this afternoon endorsed the president´s visit, according to information and communications minister Madhav Poudel.



The meeting also decided that the government would bear all expenses for the state head´s treatment. President Yadav will most likely fly to Japan tomorrow (Monday), the president´s press advisor Rajendra Dahal told Republica. [break]
