The talks held at the peace ministry in Singha Durbar could not forge any agreement as participating Muslim leaders insisted that talks be held at the top level. [break]
Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula, who leads the three-member government negotiation team, was not present tody´s talks.
After the meeting, Pun said the talks are going positively and that an agreement would be forged, addressing their demands point-wisely, in the next meeting, when Sitaula will also be present.
NMSA is a grouping of Muslim lawmakers from various political parties and Muslim rights organizations lobbying for guarantee of the Muslim community’s rights in the new constitution.
