KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Gorkhapatra daily's sub-editor Sheshkanta Pandit breathed his last this morning, He was 47.
Suffering from cancer, Pandit died while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur at 3.00 am this morning, family sources said.

He had survived intestinal cancer.
Pandit who was born in Bhanu municipality-12, Tanahun in Baisakh 2033 BS is survived by a spouse and a son and a daughter.
Pandit, also the general-secretary of the Society of Education Journalists, was involved in teaching journalism and social studies as well as book writing.
His last rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat this morning, family sources said.
