Gold, silver prices drop in Nepali market

Compared with Sunday, gold dropped by Rs 2,600 per tola.

KATHMANDU, April 6: The price of gold has fallen in the Nepali market today. Compared with Sunday, gold dropped by Rs 2,600 per tola.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold was traded at Rs 291,400 per tola today, down from Rs 294,000 per tola on Sunday.

Silver prices also declined. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,830 per tola on Sunday, fell by Rs 50 to Rs 4,780 per tola today, the FENEGOSIDA said. 


FENEGOSIDA attributed the price adjustment in the Nepali market to fluctuations in the international market.
