KATHMANDU, June 2: Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend in the domestic market on Tuesday, with both precious metals recording gains compared to the previous trading day.
The price of fine gold increased by Rs 400 per tola from Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).
Gold and silver prices remain steady
The federation fixed the price of fine gold at Rs 311,300 per tola for Tuesday, up from Rs 310,900 per tola on Monday.
Silver also became more expensive, rising by Rs 50 per tola. The metal, which was traded at Rs 5,355 per tola on Monday, reached Rs 5,405 per tola on Tuesday, the FENEGOSIDA said.
