KATHMANDU, May 16: Gold price increased by Rs 310 per tola on Sunday as compared with the price last week.



Gold was traded at Rs 34,560 per tola on Sunday. The trade had closed at Rs 34,250 last week.[break]



Similarly, silver price also increased by Rs 20 per tola on Sunday. Silver was traded at Rs 540 last week.



“The price of gold and silver went up following confusions in the international share markets,” said General Secretary of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association Manik Ratna Sakya.



“The price shot up after more money was invested in gold,” he said.
